Creamy, tangy, sweet & savory, and so delicious! This Whipped Goat Cheese makes the best easy appetizer. So good topped with tart pomegranate arils and crunchy pistachios.
Combine the goat cheese, cream cheese, and 2 tablespoons honey in a food processor. Process until smooth. Give it a taste and see if you want to add more honey and process again.
Prep the toppings: clean the pomegranate arils, toast the chopped pistachios in a dry pan for a few minutes over medium heat (don't let them burn!), chop some rosemary or thyme off the sprig.
Transfer to your serving bowl, drizzle with honey, top with pomegranate arils, crushed pistachios, and herbs. Serve immediately, or see storage instructions below.
Notes
Make-ahead instructions: store in a covered container in the fridge, and add the topping right before serving. Remove from the fridge 15-30 minutes before serving.Recipe variations to try:
